What’s new in June 2023

The latest update is now live! Here are some things that you'll notice straight away:

Media images in your app

Your media list now shows the summary image for your recordings. If you haven't added summary images, they'll still look great with our custom placeholder images, but why not think about setting summary images in the future?

Didn't know you had an app?! Your site comes with an app that we can customise for you for free - click here to find out more.

Domains & Email page

This replaces the Host Names page in your Site Settings and now includes domain health checks. If you're a site admin, use it to check the status of your assigned domains and associated email. Or if domain & email configuration is something you'd rather avoid, did you know that we can set up, transfer and manage all that for you? Click here for full details.

Payment Group updates

Custom labels
We've had lots of feedback from people using payment groups in all sorts of different ways since we gave them a big overhaul 18 months ago. Some of these uses don't fit into any of the existing types e.g. Donation, Conference, Course etc., so to give you even more flexibility, you can now set each part of the terminology specifically for each payment group:

Further customisation
On the Data to collect settings tab, you can now specify whether the Add yourself button or the Add guests to my family option should be shown to bookers or hidden.

Payment Schemes are now Payment Plans
We've adopted what has become the common terminology for this - you'll notice it reflected throughout the platform.

Note about bank pop-ups displaying £0 as the amount
On some payment groups, your users will temporarily see a note to let them know that some bank pop-ups may show the amount as £0. This is the first part of an update that will resolve this for most payment groups over the next few weeks and the message will then disappear again.

Go to Payment button
As part of the same update, we have separated the information section from the payment section on all payment groups to make it clearer for your users (especially on small screens or when lots of information is being requested). Once they have completed the information section, they will now need to click the Go to payment button.

Other improvements and bug fixes

We're always looking for ways to make things better and we fix bugs as quickly as we can after they are discovered. This release is no exception. We'll contact you if we've fixed a bug you've raised.

More to come...

We've also prepared the system for some exciting updates that will be coming shortly - watch this space!
