Printers and labels


Check-in will work with most label printers including the Dymo LabelWriter series, but if you are planning on purchasing new label printers, we recommend Brother QL series printers as they have automatic label cutting and can usually be found for a good price.

Check-in has been specially designed for use with “Compatible” labels to keep your ongoing costs low

 

Brother 62mm x 30metre continuous compatible label rolls

Approx. £18 for 150metre = ~5,000 small labels (0.3p each) or ~1,500 extra large labels (1.2p each)

Barcode scanners

Kiosk devices

Appendix-C-9 Any Windows* or Mac laptop / desktop (preferably with a touchscreen)
  • Set up fixed check-in stations
  • Even older laptops you happen to have should work fine as long as they can run the latest version of Chrome / Safari / Edge / Firefox browser
  • The laptop can also be used to control the label printing if required

  • Your welcoming team are free to meet and greet your guests as they arrive and check them in at the same time
  • Additional Windows or Mac PC required for printing
  • iOS devices impose some functionality limits

* If you wish to use Windows Assigned Access to lock down a Windows kiosk then you need to use a Professional version of Windows 10 or 11.
